Sabrina groaned and poked her distended stomach, which let out a pained gurgle in response. “I think I ate too much,” she whined to Arista and Nerissa. Her normally-flat belly was so stuffed with fish that it was rounded and protruding. Sabrina bent over to peek at her navel; her stomach was full enough that the shallow innie was stretched out so wide that the small knot at the bottom was almost poking out the way that an outie would. “Ouch.”

Kai blinked at her alarm clock; when she saw that it was only eight in the morning she groaned.
“Too early for you, princess?” Zane teased. He stood up from the chair in front of his desk and went to sit on the end of Kai’s bed, staring at her with an amused smirk. “Will you live?”
“Shut up,” Kai muttered. She stretched, tangling her fingers together above her head. The movement caused her t-shirt - which had ridden up sometime during the night - to pull up even further, exposing nearly her entire stomach. “I’m still tired.”
